News RedZebra Mobile bowls over the competion... RedZebra Mobile, alongside Canterbury and Crazy Cricket will be involved in the event. Using RedZebra Mobile, students and supporters, will be recording the day's events by taking pictures and video clips of the match they are watching, using their digital cameras or camera phones. Then, by email or MMS these pictures are uploaded to the Wellington College online galleries created by RedZebra Mobile. Wellington College's intention is to create an online photo album aimed for the student's parents, where they can go to a website, select the gallery they want to view and by perusing through all the pictures taken, they are able to capture the event of the day. By using RedZebra Mobile, they are able to do this. The students and spectators are encouraged to take pictures and with the simple sending of pictures via MMS, that picture is just one button away from their online photo album. This form of photo taking creates another element of involvement for the students. It also allows the match to be captured from all different angles. Wellington College are also looking at the possibility of using the online photo album for the same purposes on the Wellington College's rugby tour to South Africa in July this year. This would allow boys, while in South Africa, to instantly upload their photos for the parents viewing them at home, 12 000 miles away.
