GPS For GPS co-ordinates to appear you must have an image sent from a GPS enabled phone, using the RedZebra Mobile GPS Application, which is loaded onto the phone. This system currently operates on phones using Symbian 60 operating system. Please note that there is a charge for using this application. The application may be downloaded from the website, at http://www.redzebra.info/gps/default.asp GPS tagged Images Entering Co-ordinates Manually After selecting a picture, underneath the large view, you will find a tab marked Geographic Information. Any automatically geotagged images will display that information here. However if there is no GPS information you may manually enter this data by entering precise co-ordinates acquired from your GPS device, or by pinning the location on the Google Map. GPS Application - A GPS Icon will appear on images that contain GPS co-ordinates. - If you have a GPS image displayed in the right hand window, it will display a "view location information" icon. - Click on the icon. - A new page will open which will display the image, map and all relevant information and co-ordinates. - There are control functions on the left hand side of the Google Map, which enable you to move the map around, or zoom in or out on the map to get more detail and information. |
